Fall Inspiration with the Gathered Together Bundle

Hello friends! Today I am sharing a couple of cards I made using the Gather Together Bundle from Stampin' Up!. These super cute cards were made during my Facebook Live yesterday (Tuesday, September 16th). You can watch the replay HERE!

The Gathered Together Bundle is a returning favourite from last years catalogue and can currently be found in the August - December 2020 Mini Catalogue. I'll be the first to admit that I typically don't do many Fall (or Halloween) projects, but this bundle has completely changed my mind! I have been making so many cards with this bundle, I honestly don't know why I waited!

This card layout is also quite simple and easily duplicatable. In fact, my plan for these cards it to make 18 total cards and send them out to family and friends with some of our updated Fall Family Photos (though, we took these last year, pre-COVID)!

Card details and measurements:

  • Mint Macaron Card Base: 5-½” x 8-½” - scored and folded to 4-¼” x 5-½”

  • The Very Vanilla layer is embossed using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder: 5-¼” x 4”

  • The sentiment die cut piece is from the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.

  • Very Vanilla Inside Layer: 5-¼” x 4”

  • The patterned paper is from the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper: 4” x 2"

  • I cut a whole sheet of 12" x 12" of the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper in the measurements above. These measurements will yield exactly enough cut pieces for 18 of these cards. #loveitchopit

  • The leaves are die cut using the Gathered Leaves Die and are in Mint Macaron, Cajun Craze, and Very Vanilla.

  • For the pumpkin image behind the sentiment, I used the Stamp-Off Technique. Due to my Cajun Craze ink pad being new, it's also very juicy, so I stamped-off 4 times before stamping the image on the Stitched Nested Die Cut.

  • The 'Gathered Together' sentiment is stamped using Mint Macaron Ink.

  • I changed up the embellishment on some of the cards and used the Just Jade 2020 - 2021 In Colour Ribbon on some of them.

A full supply list is available at the end of this blog post.
