Happy Mother's Day! Today's blog post will be a quick one in honour of Mother's Day! If you still need a quick card idea because things have been a bit chaotic lately with COVID-19 (trust me, I hear you), then my hope is that today's card project will help you!
This card quickly came together using the sadly retiring Painted Harvest Stamp Set. This set is seriously one of my all-time favourites and I am so sad it is retiring. You can check out the full retiring list HERE.
This card is similar to one I've done previously and I do have a video tutorial on my YouTube channel on how I created it. The only difference is that I added some additional elements to this card for the sentiment. Check out the video and then full details below.
Tips, Tricks, and Reminders:
Whisper White Card Base: 8.5" x 5.5", scored at 4-1/4"
Sunflower Colours: Berry Burst (retired, but you can substitute with Lovely Lipstick using the stamp-off technique), and Rich Razzleberry.
Stamped Leaves: Tranquil Tide (retired, substitute with Pretty Peacock).
Punched Leaves: Leaf Punch
Oval Die Cuts for Sentiment: Stitched Shape Dies (largest oval) and Layering Oval Framelits.
Timeless Tulips Stamp Set for the Happy Mother's Day sentiment, stamped in Tranquil Tide.
